And he’s equally right the only route to defeating populism runs through properly tackling the climate crisis. Climate breakdown, food insecurity, and rolling disasters will be weaponised by nationalists and authoritarians everywhere.

These are difficult stories to read, but much, much harder still to live through. Maëlle and many others spoke up so that other young people won’t have to live through it.
