Vietnam is at the forefront of the global biodiversity crisis. Having spent time there this year, it’s clear that biodiversity is becoming a priority. How, then, do we think about in situ and ex situ conservation in this amazing country?

The start to 2024 has been amazing. Two weeks in Vietnam learning about sustainable agriculture and climate resiliency in the Mekong Delta and forging collaborations around biodiversity monitoring was inspirational. A beautiful country, I hope it was the first of many visits. @jhhartman.bsky.social
