I read the article and your book! Made me think of writing an SNL skit where everyone talks in exaggerated Trump fallacies: "People are saying that people are saying that other people are saying that I'm a smart guy. I'm not saying that people who disagree should be taken out and beaten, but..."

I've been frustrated with FB friends who can only see the murder in partisan terms. There's an eye-to-eye primitivism about their response they don't realize. Kirk could be what he was and be a human being as well.

On a FB post about Kirk's death, I shut off commenters with this: "If you're talking about irony or politics, you're part of the problem. You're selling your humanity to partisanship."

YOU are not being partisan here. But at what point should we draw the line between our partisanship and humanity?
