Edinburgh's Cafe Royal always seems extra-special when it's done up for Christmas. It was the setting for a scene in 'Complicity' by the great #IainBanks - in which he incidentally confirmed a happy ending to 'The Bridge'.

I think it was Jane Austen who said "It is a truth universally acknowledged that a bloke in possession of a CD collection must be in want of organising it alphabetically by artist." Initial sort reveals that most of my CDs are from acts from A-H. And that's without my Elbow albums.
