To get to this point is an absolute dream and I am so so grateful, especially in the current climate. It has been a long and challenging road into an uncertain future, but I am bolstered by an amazing support system, wonderful new colleagues, and a resolve to persist.

Our long-term goals are to (1) expand our knowledge of how cognitive challenge and body physiology affect neural function, (2) inspire interventions that support the cognitive health of pregnant and postpartum people, and (3) train the next generation of scientists in a supportive environment!

Our lab will take a systems neuroscience approach (optical imaging, electrophysiology, rodent behavior, etc.) to understand the neural underpinnings of flexible learning and memory and how these processes change in the maternal brain. So stoked to launch this program at CU Boulder!
