Which is fine actually, with most of the lore resolved in the first, the sequel wound up being a really exciting sci-fi road trip! I do think Mickey's girlfriend could've been utilized better though

I wanted to watch the movie (haven't yet) so of course I read the book first.
The backstory and lore of this is so amazing! In comparison it feels like Ashton forgot to write an interesting plot.
