So I got PS+ premium during the sale and I picked up some games I wanted to try. The PS1 Resident Evils, the Sly Cooper Trilogy, Jak 1, Daxter PSP and some more games. If I can in the future, I'll properly pay for the ones that intrigued me the most. Though for others, I want to tackle a certain way

Writing scripts way in advance is definitely benefiting me with how I want to tackle certain things. I'm currently have 2 in the making with an additional 4 in the idea section. When will they be spoken out to the public is something only time will tell.

Nintendo doesn't acquire studios all that much, especially compared to other companies. And even then, those few acquisitions are towards smaller, more independent studios. This is a Bandai Namco studio, meaning they likely had a lot to go through between them & Bamco before acquiring was a thought.

This is a Bandai Namco studio, meaning they likely had a lot to go through between them & Bamco before acquiring was a thought.

This is the first update to both the NES and Gameboy applications made after the release of the Switch 2, meaning not only will they finally get the Nintendo Classics rebrand like the other apps, but they'll finally get button remapping which can be beneficial for certain games with awkward layouts.
If Sega fully owns the publishing rights to the Sonic Advance Trilogy and THQ has no stay, then the fact that none of those games have gotten a single re-release aside from SA1 in the Japanese only Wii U virtual console is so weird.

Contemplating on whether or not I should get the Launch Edition of Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. I've seen both standard and launch editions for some good prices, but I don't know if I should really get a few items early. Regardless, I'm not seeing myself get the digital deluxe edition anytime soon.

If I had a nickel for every time a platformer franchise gets a multiplayer mobile game with the word Rumble in the title, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice. Even more so, with those said platformer franchises being Sonic the Hedgehog and Ratchet and Clank.

Considering the exclusive problem the PS5 is only just now starting to recover from in some instances & the Switch 2 dodged the bullet of launching in the pandemic that led to the long cross gen period & stock issues the former system got, it makes a lot of sense for Nintendo to shift priorities now
Going forward, Nintendo will shift its primary development focus to Nintendo Switch 2 and expand its business around the new platform.

Perfect timing to set up for Halloween. And it's nice to see that the Luigi's Mansion Trilogy will finally be playable on a single platform.
I visited the retro store yesterday to see what's been changed. Some systems got sold, including the $600 Turbografx 16. Some systems were brought in like a GBA SP and DS Lite and Holy Virtual Boy game that's never going to be re-released under dumb circumstances it's Panic Bomber! 2 copies of it!
