A few washes down the line and I've kind of grown into it the bangs for now, I think. + it looks cute with my Bernie 2020 hat which got me a few smiles in the autumnal relieved Copenhagen today.

I also had to go to Kaunas, Lithuania for some emergency family things last week, and although it was an involuntary visit my god Kaunas was smiling at me with the most preposterously gorgeous colours. 🤎 I was walking around gobsmacked.

My loved ones'll know - though I had an extraordinary year, it's also been an excessively exhausting one. No holiday, pretty much no weekends etc.
But today I had a day off & it was a magical one. Me & my mum went mushroom picking, just like we used to since I was the tiniest toddler. Heavenly. 🤎

My loved ones'll know - though I had an extraordinary year, it's also been an excessively exhausting one. No holiday, pretty much no weekends etc.

diagnosing the desperate need for the left to rethink the aesthetics of where comrades can be found. Turns out - videogames are very much that space, too. I'm supremely thankful for the incredible reception by comrades in Buenos Aires and Santiago - it's giving me much-needed optimism. 🩷 5/7

I'm humbled, I learned so much, I had so many questions, I was faced with so much beauty and courage, so many heart-breaking stories of the oligarchs making lives miserable, so much otherworldly gorgeous nature, so much greedy destruction of it. As everywhere - an international truth. 3/7

I never imagined my first book would take me on such journeys, but it’s clear there’s a deep hunger for change: not just for bigger profits in our surreal, incredible, grotesque industry, but for a complete rethinking of how it operates. 2/7

Trade unionists, writers, artists, rad game makers, civil servants - all attempting to make their corner of the world a more egalitarian place. 1/7

Since this post a few months back Laurynas also organised videogames workers x politicians meetings, brought Lithuania closer to recognising gay marriage, have done tonnes for women's rights.
