V dnešní Vinohradské na téma influencerů, mj. o kauze "Čína platí influencery" a o tom, že influenceři stejně jako každá jiná profese můžou svojí práci dělat dobře nebo taky úplně blbě, vidět je víc možná to druhé, ale těch prvních je víc:
Bez výraznějších pravidel, zato s velkým dosahem. Jakou roli hraje důvěra v tuzemském světě influencerů? Jak velký mají vliv? A zasáhnou do předvolební kampaně?

Vyjádření projektu Zeptej se vědce k současné situaci v americké vědě
Milé čtenářky, milí čtenáři, již pár let přinášíme odpovědi na vaše otázky. Velká část našich odpovědí se opírá o výzkum, který se uskutečnil ve Spojených státech nebo který byl Spojenými státy podpořen. Řada našich spolupracovnic a spolupracovníků má za sebou badatelskou zkušenost v USA, kooperuje s tamními vědeckými institucemi či na nich přímo působí.
Tímto bychom chtěli vyjádřit podporu americké vědecké komunitě a dát najevo rozhořčení nad kroky současné americké administrativy, které vedou k destabilizaci tamního výzkumného prostředí. Lidi, se kterými jsem byla v USA minulý semestr, už jsou někteří bez stipendia (netýká se to - zatím - lidí z ČR, protože stipendia vyplácí Fulbrightova komise v Praze). Neumím si představit, jak stresující je tam najednou zůstat bez prostředků, spousta lidí si nemůže jen tak koupit letenku domů.

Today is a reminder of Zelensky's superhuman stamina and strength. He deflected deeply unfair vile attacks in his 3rd language and kept it together while two bullies threatened his country's existence and repeated the tired but infuriating propaganda tropes of the aggressor.

I was just told that I have to remove “climate” from the title of an ongoing grant if I want to keep it. And publications from that grant cannot include “climate” and other forbidden words. I can’t believe I’m writing this from the United States of America. #AcademicSky

I am a big fan of 404 Media, but this is misleading at best. You can't post your way out of fascism, but you can and should organize, meet people and learn important info via social media. Doomscrolling is not activism, but activism can be done online and social media can be useful.

I am a big fan of 404 Media, but this is misleading at best. You can't post your way out of fascism, but you can and should organize, meet people and learn important info via social media. Doomscrolling is not activism, but activism can be done online and social media can be useful.
