Praying the snow holds off bc I want to stop into a coffee shop for an hour after I drop my S&BIL at the airport tomorrow and work on my 2026 plans with a piping hot beverage and some ambiance.
May have to put off the 2026 planning until next week if the snow gets bad though.

Since leaving Boston I obviously lost access to Libby through the BPL & CPL. 😭
Great news though, my county library system in NJ just joined the “Main” library system (statewide system) AND they announced the statewide system is getting Libby in early January 2026!!! 🎉🎉🎉

I want to rock more baby tees and crop tops in 2026.
I wasn’t allowed to wear them as a teen but no one can stop me now that I’m in my 30s and have my own money.
Bonus: it’ll motivate me to do my workouts, which also usually gives me more body confidence because I love feeling strong. 🥰

Filled up my kindle because I’m spending the day at the spa tomorrow and I am so pumped to chill in a recliner with my book and my coffee when I’m done with the saunas and pools. 🥰

The week before a holiday is always fun and silly and busy because we pretend our house is a B&B that we have to prep for the new guests (my siblings + spouses).
Plan menus, assign rooms, fluff pillows, clean, clean, clean.

Sometimes I’m incredibly emotionally tired for no reason, and sometimes I suddenly remember that I’m a Cancer sun, Pisces moon, Pisces rising, year of the blue (water) Monkey, and then I go back to bed.

I love D&D but I can’t keep doing this playing until 11pm thing. I don’t get to sleep until 2-3am and then I can hardly function the next day. I need to go back to playing marathon sessions on weekends instead of short sessions on weeknights.

Pretty proud of how much my reading speed for non-fiction has increased this year. I used to read SO SLOWLY if there wasn’t a gripping plot, but I’ve gotten much better!! I just read a whole 70 pages of a new-to-me non-fiction book today, and last year I would struggle to read 4-10 pages a day.
