Abortion rights returned to Missouri one year ago. Access never did.

Voters legalized abortion, but decades of restrictions and a hollowed-out provider network mean most Missourians still leave the state for care. #moleg #mogov
Abortion rights returned to Missouri one year ago. Access never did • Missouri Independent
Abortion rights became law one year ago in Missouri. How few abortions happened since illustrates the difficulty of rebuilding access once it's decimated.

Today's walk involved a fortunate discovery. The spouse and I are visiting some of his family in Oklahoma and staying in a hotel. I really wanted to make sure and get a walk before over---um, eating. Just eating. Oh, hey, look at this park *right behind* the hotel! The attractive gentleman below was a value-added component I brought to the experience.

The Best Laid Plans of 1914

A few weeks ago, our neighborhood hosted a day of garage sales, and these two curiosities made their way home with me--tour itineraries for England, Wales, and Contintental Europe, for the years 1913 and 1914. I assume all went well in 1913, since the tour organizer,…

I assume all went well in 1913, since the tour organizer, Ms. Stella M. Weyer of Washington, PA, decided a repeat was in order for the next year.

I live in Missouri, so contacting my senators means nothing. But if you have a Dem senator, please call now!
This “deal” is a surrender that all congressional Democrats should reject out of hand. It’s bad policy that will raise healthcare prices and bad politics that gives the regime more power to do more harm. Make no mistake: As some Senate Democrats consider surrender, Republicans are losing this fight.
🚨 We’re hearing that Senate Democrats are on the verge of caving to Trump in another “Schumer Surrender.”

That means your Democratic senators need to hear from you right now.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.

We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina.

A vote for this bill is a mistake.

Looking forward to learning all about how the right should move left to win elections tomorrow. They should maybe dye their hair pink, learn to love pronouns.

I have nothing to vote on locally. Experiencing a little election envy. Those who do have a ballot today, go forth and make good choices. Especially those 200 Virginians I GOTV postcards to.

So the president took a dementia test, and then they administered an MRI. Where’s the media on this?

"He is the first President to hate the American people and all they stand for...he has shown us that our Constitution is a defective document, which makes a childlike assumption that we would never elect a President who disliked us so."
