Was the link meant to lead to the main page for the book rather than your review? (I did find yours via your Goodreads page.)

It's a very long time since I read an epistolary novel, and this one certainly was not on my radar. I'm cautiously intrigued!

Oooh, this is ramping up my excitement. The book actually arrived in my house a couple of days ago, but I'm not allowing myself the slightest peek inside until December. However, the gilding of your name makes the cover and spine look extra festive 🎄 😍

Sounds like a fun piece; will save for when I have time to enjoy it with a cup of coffee!

Also, did you see that one of your earlier book covers was featured by Collecting Romance a few days ago? It's here: bsky.app/profile/coll...

Yes. I exclusively read print books and have no issue with trying out debut authors. Two reasons: I can never stay concentrated when reading on a screen, whatever its size, and these days I can afford print books.

The caveat is that a debut author must provide an excerpt. Without it, no.

I can tell you that I've found typos or missing words in nearly every novel I've read this year. And most books were from major publishers. Modern tech enables more gremlins than previously, clearly!

Can your typo be read as hesitation? (I'll find out soon, and put a little 😉 next to it!)

Thank you, Hannah Valerie! It was lovely. Best weather in over a week - a bit of snow sugar-coating the highest peaks while all the rest practically glowed in that last, rich, golden sigh of high autumn before all turns brown and grey!

Nothing quite like a reset in the lap of nature, is there 😊
