New platform, new handle but always just looking and finding
McClellan is too establishment to want to primary Warner, plus she likely was has an inside track to Kaine’s seat once he retires

Foy besides being great on the merits is someone absolutely more willing to risk it and I hope she does

This is where perversely the high prices could come in handy- for me and others, beef prices soaring have caused us to primarily stick to chicken and the reduced price and observed health benefits has disincentivizes us to primarily consuming beef as our “main meat”

Not to be overly optimistic but yeah I think we know what to do; we just have to prepare for the fact it will take decades for the adoption to occur

This isn’t a progressive vs moderate divide & it’s stupid to try to reduce it to that

House Dems, all across the spectrum, are pissed at Senate Dems for caving (similar to March!!)

Sean Casten, a moderate, is posting about how the Senate was designed to impede progress bsky.app/profile/sean...
I don't know what the Senate is going to do. But if they do in fact fold in exchange for nothing, they will be living up to past performance. To expect the Senate to carry out the will of the American people is to misunderstand why it was created in the first place.

Exactly!! Like why give Trump and the GOP cover when they were so determined to act like they had all the power and most importantly the public thought it’s all the GOP’s fault anyway!

Tbc I am not saying you think this was the right call but that even for Senate Dems, it makes no sense

But even if that is the case, with premiums spikes locked in already, why would the GOP feel more pressure then than now esp when the sting of the election losses will fade from the GOP’s minds ?
