One of my kid’s closest friends is a wheelchair user who desperately needs a motorized chair in order move more freely, as her disability effects her wrists and elbows - meaning her current push chair limits her independence. Please consider donating!!!

I used to be confused why people wouldn’t get their neighborhood stray cats fixed, until I tried to trap a cat myself. It’s really not easy!! I’m gonna end up with a teen mom on my hands at this rate, sheeeeesh!

Last night, about 60 Chicago activists and organizers gathered to discuss Trump's threatened military occupation of our city. Our convo centered around a worksheet that some friends and I put together this week—a tool that can help us build and strengthen local networks of support and protection.
Mapping Community Defense and Care in Our Neighborhoods
This worksheet can help us prepare for Trump's military interventions at the neighborhood level.

This Buttigieg nonsense shows how misunderstood HRT is. In tgirls, it’s a performance reducer, eliminates any “biological” advantage. She has 0 testosterone in her body, which is less than cis women. This scrutiny over gender makes everyone unsafe and is just a way to control women. Full-stop.

No one should die by drowning. Swimming and water safety are human rights and should be taught like any other subject. To EVERYONE. So much preventable loss.

You have three days, starting today, to leave a public comment with the FDA about, say, why COVID-19 boosters should remain available to everyone and also free. "Individual consumer" is the category you most likely want (unless you are one of the other categories; if so, choose that).

Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.

There is a special place in hell for people who go out sick and don’t mask. Even if it really is just a cold, it will still spread and ruin someone else’s week. We should know better by now.

I’m also annoyed with the discourse and one-upping of web platforms in general. No software is perfect, or best for every situation. They’re all valid, even the controversial ones. If it works for somebody, that’s great! Not everything has to be my business.

Why do we still have snobby tech dudes in 2025? Your way isn’t inherently better or more correct. You gotta earn the right to criticize a CMS by putting in your time first.

$720/mo for a Blue Cross Affordable Care Act plan that is no longer accepted at CVS. I’m so mad! Means no more access to a 24 hr pharmacy. Walgreens is awful, private equity narcs, so I guess Costco it is. This county is vile.

These calls do make a difference. R’s generally call their reps much more and much more consistently than left leaning people(since the 1990s and contract w/ America days).Calls matter for how reps gage public opinion.Calls shape who they think is watching&who they think will hold them accountable.
Susan Collins chairs the Senate Appropriations Committee and has the power to push back against the Trump-Musk misuse of federal funds.

If you live in Maine and are ... concerned? troubled? worried? ... let her know and let her know often.
The first is Susan Collins from Maine. Yes, she is a coward, but she needs to be visited in DC and in her Maine offices, and we need to call her every day until this stops. 2/ www.collins.senate.gov
