I read her second post as still only at the direction of the source…. There may be sources that aren’t aware of the “hidden” tracking. I would hope the top priority would be informing and protecting the source. How do journalists ensure there isn’t any tracking info in docs without a comparison?

100% agree with the “information being needed later on in development”… And would like to add pre-clinical studies are done early because if they were to wait until later on in development, it would be much more costly to the development program overall, they would rather find the issue earlier.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more legislation similar to the Dickey Amendment from 1996 (greatly limited federal funding for gun violence research)….It took Congress over 20 years to correct the error and set the record straight. Any ideas on work arounds related to legislation?
