After three days of wondering what this monster was doing we finally caught him. Folks meet Talker, he spent three days living under my bed sneaking out to use the litter box and snack. He is now an indoor grump who prefers cozy living to scrapping and pooping in the dirt.

We have two idiots, two demons, and one old man who snuck in last year when we had a snow storm and just never left. So, I guess that is at least semi-confirmation (also one of the demons is my profile pic just fyi).

Hit 20k+ words in one of my current projects and was pleasantly surprised to see the story arc right where I wanted it. Sometimes the characters run amok, but these ones are cooperating nicely.

May & I'm enjoying my year (not the outside world the one I'm making at home for myself)...no pressure just making things, learning things, & doing it on my schedule. I can't tell if I'm driving myself mad with all the new things or just living my best life, but either way I'm all in.

When I lie in bed, cross-faded and warm in winter, and watching cat videos online I think to myself....this, this is what my caveman ancestors wanted for their progeny, they would be so proud.
