I see Trump has been going on about his Big Amazing Ballroom. I wonder if America has realised that if they don't depose him before it's completed they will have to listen to his endless rambling speeches about his "big amazing balls".

Not really keen on this at all, but certainly think that it is important in a democracy that any alleged crimes related to political protest should remain a matter for a jury trial.

Jury trials could be scrapped except in most serious cases
Only cases of alleged murder, rape or manslaughter will be decided by a jury under new proposals to cut court backlogs.

If anyone is interested I will be committing a wide range of covers and possibly a bit of Christmas with my band Quaff on Saturday the 6th. Our first time in Lavenham. This is apparently the first time this new landlord has had Live music and if it goes well he may do more.

In the run up to the budget I think it is now clear most people agree that the chancellor should raise taxes on other people.

Just phoned up my local mower repair place and got the following message. "I'm sorry I can't come to the phone at present. To send a fax start transmitting now, to leave a voice message please call back later. *Fax noises*" I can only assume they fix a lot of mowers for the NHS.

All this Andrew Mountbatten Winsor stuff is making me think that with a name that's such a mouthful it will soon be shortened to AMW. Then I thought those letters sounded familiar so I looked them up. Google's first suggestion: America's Most Wanted.

If somebody is racist without intending to be that means they are genuinely racist. This is admittedly better than those who aren't genuinely racist but intentionally choose to act and speak that way, but they are still racist.

The important thing to understand about goth is that, Yes, we are the night, but sometimes it's the kind of night you spend communing with lost spirits in a misty grave yard, and sometime it's the kind of night where we hook up with the werewolves and go out for cocktails.

Yesterday I ran the music side of a music festival for the first time. I've had a wonderful six months finding bands and yesterday I had the wonderful experience of discovering that I picked right and to be in a big room full of people enjoying all kinds of live music. It can be done.

When I worked for my parents newsagents of all the horrible things we sold (Sugar laden sweets, addictive lottery scratch cards, literally fatal cigarettes) the thing I felt most bad about selling was Newspapers and thismorning reminds me why.

I'm a man of habits. When I go in to town I have a favourite parking space in a particular corner. Today I could not use it because there was a cat sitting in it. I parked a couple of spaces along. The moment I opened the door the cat got up and came to say hello.
