Counting has been suspended for the night at the #Louth constituency count centre in Dundalk with no candidate elected after nine counts.

There have been 10 of the 24 candidates eliminated.

The count will resume with Count 10 at 9am this morning (Sunday).

The final tally for #Louth is in - Sinn Féin on course to take at least two seats (Ruairí Ó Murchú and Joanna Byrne) while Ged Nash of Labour should be returned to the Dáil.

However, two seats are still too close to call!

A man has been arrested by Gardaí investigating an explosion in Creeslough in Co Donegal in 2022 in which ten people died.

The man in his 60s voluntarily presented himself at Dundalk Garda Station this morning, his solicitor had confirmed. @news.rte.ie
