26. Favorite Neo-Noir:
Dead Again (1991)
1990s thriller and homage to the golden age of #FilmNoir.
Starring Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branagh so the acting ain’t half bad either.

23. Film Noir actor who steals every scene they're in:
Think of a scene with Sheldon Leonard in it. Tell me it didn’t instantly become “his” scene as son as he entered it.

21. Film noir made outside the USA:

(The Kneeling Goddess)
- Salón México (1949)
- Aventurera (1950)

20. #FilmNoir Gambling Scene:
Las Vegas Shakedown (1955) is set in a casino hotel so there are lots of good gambling scenes. Dennis O’Keefe oozes mid-fifties cool but other characters and moments hint at the darker side of hitting the tables.

19. Boxing Film Noir:
Giving some love to The Street With No Name (1948). It’s an FBI undercover investigation flick with a Skid Row setting, some great boxing moments and (film noir bonus) Richard Widmark.

18. Film Noir MacGuffin:
If you’re gonna have a MacGuffin, might as well be a big old bag of cash like the one in Too Late For Tears (1949)!

16. Lesser-known noir everyone should see:
Cause For Alarm (1951) a tense suburban, domestic noir. Loretta Young’s bed-ridden husband, Barry Sullivan, wrongly accuses her of plotting to kill him. Hard recommend!

13. Low-budget B noir:
Apology for Murder (1945) starring Ann Savage and Hugh Beaumont. Blatant rip-off of Double Indemnity (Rumor has it they originally planned to call it Single Indemnity), but so much fun in its own right.
