Yes. I had a player want a change and we had fun killing off her character (to the other players' surprise), and then - when needing a new crew member - hiring on the new character from amongst two others. The job interviews were fun!

I happened to catch Jesus Christ Superstar on at a theatre once, not knowing it was on, and loved it so much I immediately went back a second time. I'm pretty sure the experience was enhanced by the second viewing as it helped reinforce memories still strong all these years later.

Ranger Mode in One Ring? Hostile for Cepheus Engine has a decent Solo book. (I think there might be a couple of other Traveller adjacent ones, but on holidaybat present and can't check)

Quite tempted by trying it of I can't play #TravellerRPG in the slot. I have the books (not sure which edition) and it does look interesting.

TBF he's my niece's (over from France and having met an Aussie in Vietnam*) and he seems very nice and very personable so nothing really required except maybe explain family culture.
