I don’t know the species. I took its tiny portrait in Salt Lake City, Utah as part of the 24 Hour Project street photography event on July 20, 2024. #24hourproject #24hp #snail #photography #photosky #saltlakecity #blackandwhite

(To my eternal shame, I thought he was ever so cool back then. Now, he’s just Drear-y.)

Yep.

I keep track of him bc he and I went to the same small high school, albeit not together. Met him a few times back in his beret days. Many mutuals, almost none of whom can stand him anymore.

Reportedly he and JD have lots in common.

Oh gross, it’s Drear. I wish he’d go back to the bayou or whatever 2nd world country will have him and stay there. He’s such an embarrassment.

This looks different than what I found. These were bright red veins of color within the flesh.

I found this post on Reddit that includes a photo similar to what I’ve seen, along with an explanation. www.reddit.com/r/Apples/com...
From the Apples community on Reddit: Curious what these red veins are — apple maggots, natural pigmentation, something else?

I, for one, welcome my new spider overlords. Or overladies, I suppose.

Part of ACAB is the realization that “good cops” can’t last. They get pushed out, they leave, or they start to go bad. The system grinds them up or grinds them down. I don’t think the system can support good ones for long.

Another unfollow. What a terrible disappointment. They were a bright light in the darkness.
