The use of the National Guard in DC under fabricated claims of a crime crisis violates democratic norms and endangers civilians. Militarization = structural violence.
After the DC National Guard Shooting Comes the Big Lie
West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey is inventing reasons for the National Guard to occupy Washington, DC. We cannot let his outrageous fabrications take hold.

worldbeyondwar.org/abya-yala-is... I hate when the podcast episode I just did about an escalating war turns about to be right. About the context and history of US attacks on Venezuela.

I learned “Abya Yala” in this interview. I’m unclear whether it means so-called South America as well as Turtle Island or just the south part of the Americas … either way, I like to say Abya Yala now. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/w...

Both of these things are true:

- Zohran ran on a practical, effective affordability platform
- one reason Zohran won is his courage to speak the truth about Gaza and reject the moral abyss of Christian Zionism and AIPAC grift that otherwise owns both Dem and Repub parties

Zohran: “If you come for one of us you’re going to have to go through all of us”. This pointed message that we will stand together to defend immigrants in NYC feels to me like the most important words this great candidate just said in his victory speech.

Spotted this brave young politician in Brooklyn yesterday. I barely follow elections anymore since Biden revealed the deep pro-war corruption that owns the Dem party. But I’ll put aside my skepticism and vote for ZM. USA is in a death spiral, may as well try to have a good mayor.

I wish there was a serious peace plan for the destroyed holy lands. If this was a serious peace plan, we’d be talking about how to deal with the tremendous trauma of this decades-long war. Instead, diplomats are patting themselves on the back and mass media is shoveling cliches.

It seems quaint what with all the fascism and American concentration camps and Zionist insanity … but I still get excited for the Nobel Prize for Literature every year. I don’t have a guess since Paul Auster has died. 😢

I don’t think the internet is the problem.

I think guns and war and corrupt capitalism and white supremacy are the problem. The Internet is part of our lives and a constructive force for most of us.
