Librarian, of sorts. I will always fight and I will never give up.
I feel personally attacked by this skeet

I have not seen all the Bond parodies, but leaving those aside, pretty much all the Bond actors were fine. Yes, even Lazenby. Some of them were better than fine, but all of them met the standard. He's been pretty lucky in his portrayers. Unlike, say, John Dortmunder.

Le Chiffre's book (and TV) origin story is absolutely horrifying and I understand why Bond superfans want to memory hole what Ian Fleming did there, but Peter Lorre still plays that role better than Mads Mikkelsen. Also, Bond would never play Texas Hold'em

The best performance as a Bond villain is Peter Lorre's as Le Chiffre COME AT ME, FUCKOS

The biggest continuity break in Bond is not his dying and regenerating, it is his being married to Diana Rigg and then never thinking about it or mentioning it again. I am a straight woman and if I had been lucky enough to be married to Diana Rigg I would talk about it constantly

I remember watching Casino Royale and it would have MADE MY DAY if, when Daniel Craig was destroying big chunks of Venice, he had suddenly turned to the camera and said, "Remember when I drove around in that gondola? Wasn't that fun?"

One of my great regrets is that we never got a Q-focused movie with Desmond Llewelyn. Just a movie about how he develops his inventions.

lest we believe that there was a golden age of Bond, we should remember that the opening credit sequence of one film at the peak of the franchise's popularity featured Bond dropping Blofeld down a factory chimney from a helicopter after Blofeld - inexplicably - offers to buy Bond a delicatessen

I know librarians who prepare for instruction sessions and they're all cowards
