Hey this site might be cool for a bit.

Every morning, I start filling my kettle from the hot tap. The water starts cold, then turns hot. No matter how much hot water is added to the kettle, there will always be a minimum amount of time to bring the cold water to boil. I can never speed it up with more hot. Right?

I love my beta reader, who is also my partner, but sometimes the absolutely-correct-and-smart feedback I get is "this is bad it should be better".

So now I'm staring at a few pages with just the note "make scary somehow"

All of ebay's recommendations for things I should buy are solely based on things I'm selling, as though I'm a constantly rotating gyre of used DVD boxsets.
