i just finished installing the base for a ceiling cloud to my bedroom studio. i'm gonna add the acoustic panels after i get some velcro. this turned out so much better than I expected

for all the hype, i thought ghostty was going to be the end all be all terminal emulator, but after spending all but five minutes with it, i'm pretty comfortable saying that kitty better fits my needs

playing rogue galaxy for the ps2 on retroarch and idk when it happenedm but the pcsx2 core is finally playable; and so is the dreamcast core, flycast—even naomi games work! if u're use bin/cue format

some guy on reddit installed ubuntu on his smartwatch and their post sent me down an interesting rabbit hole. basically, TIL that there are actual linux DEs for smartwatches, like one called asteroidOS. it's so interesting what ppl are getting up to with aftermarket devices, etc. etc.

swapped out some old, drifting joy-cons with gulikit hall joysticks, and switched out the shells while i was at it... joy-cons are done, gonna do the rest of the shell tomorrow

my ipad broke like 6 months ago and i haven't fixed it bc i thought i'd buy a new one instead—it's such an old model—but i ended up not doing that, and settled with just not having an ipad

dragon ball daima is pretty decent. i'm taking long breaks between episodes, and i can't decide if its bc i want to savour it or if it just a little bit boring. either way, the art direction and world building are really well done

imo arch linux is the funnest operating system, if u find tedium and wiki tunneling engaging, and want to have a sick tiling compositor like hyprland. going back to windows and no having a conf file that lets me effortlessly set global keyboard shortcuts to whatever i want feels so outdated
