Our sweet baby bird died suddenly after a few days.
We were going to buy another bird, but then I noticed she was acting happy on her own. I
Now she flies and plays and does her own version of talking. She’s even being naughty again. It makes me happy every day to see her like this.

This is our brand-new budgie, brought home to replace our little Lando Calbirdian. The little one is currently nameless and it’s not possible to figure out of it’s male or female due to its youth. We currently call it the Child.

Whew. I’m trying to get my feeds organized. After putting half an hour into making lists, I realized that I should just spend the same amount of time here every day adding to them and keeping them up.

A variation on the non-dairy pumpkin pie recipe I used last year is in the oven. I borrowed the idea of beating the egg whites to a peak to my mother’s old Fluffy Pumpkin Pie recipe. I don’t know where it came from, perhaps a pumpkin can.

Today, in the ongoing struggle that is life with inanimate objects, I found my keys in a pocket of my purse that I have checked repeatedly for the last five days.
