sticking your nose up at the annoyed lefties is a strategy that works if you're the established party of the centre-left, but i'm not sure it works if you're a party nominally left-of-labour who only recently cracked double digits in a poll for the first time.

Yeah my takeaway from the goodlaw article is that it seems very much legal to segregate trans people as long as the provisions for it are made available. We must wholly reject being forced into third spaces.
Still very grim and depressing to see "you might get in legal trouble for using the toilet"

Coco Jones' "Why Not More?" is fabulous. Demonstrates so much promise (and her voice is *gorgeous*). Surely has to establish a foothold for her going forward. If she tightens up the writing she might really be the gold-standard this decade. 7.5/10.

"A Complicated Woman" by Self Esteem is one of the most horrendous albums to drop this year. Veers hard btwn self-absorbed to shallowly maudlin to obnoxious. Production is bland and sometimes even unfinished-sounding. "69" one of the worst songs this decade.
