It’s a neurotic argument precisely because of the medium on which it’s taken place, where one poorly argued post can spread taken out of context, but then the original poster is in such close democratic contact with her critics, some of whom should actually be gatekept from her.

It’s wild how little we discuss as a matter of politics now, and how much more we discuss as a matter or morality, taste, natural law, etc. because enacting policy is totally shut down.
