You can just not reply dude

I did explain that in my field it is required to understand how an algorithm works before the algorithm can be accepted.

They all said "nuh-uh!" and proceeded to hyper-fixate on irrelevant information, because theyre dunces.
December 1, 2025 at 9:11 PM
I cant debate someone on a topic if they are completely ignorant to how the mechanisms of the topic function.

Yall are just mad because you know you're dunces following a trend, and I've shoved that fact directly in front of your face.
December 1, 2025 at 9:09 PM
The central argument is that in CS, algorithms must be proven to be accepted. Everyone else (who arent even CS specialists) keeps claiming the opposite with full confidence despite their lack of education in the field. The challenges prove that you are ignorant and not qualified to speak on this.
December 1, 2025 at 9:06 PM
You guys literally keep spinning off into random epistemology nonsense because you are so uneducated that you lack the basic language to even discuss these ideas.
December 1, 2025 at 9:02 PM
No I dont. What I said was that the term was meaningless in reference to shapes. Shapes do not have "knowledge".

I get that you think using philosophy 101 terms is fun, but this is mathematics, and terms have very specific meanings.

Interesting. Maybe the sensors used makes it possible to detect indoors at close range, but not outdoor at longer ranges?

Because I definitely remember running tests in the lab with the camera, and hot objects like people lit up bright white in the video stream.
December 1, 2025 at 8:54 PM
The fact is that you legitimately think working for a stipend counts as getting it "for free"
December 1, 2025 at 5:59 PM
Most depth cameras use infrared to do the depth calculations. You can access the IR video stream and use it as a thermal camera.
December 1, 2025 at 5:58 PM
You morons are the ones who decided to hyper-fixate when I said "education isnt free" because yall got butthurt when I said you weren't qualified to speak on this topic
December 1, 2025 at 5:56 PM
Yeah its almost like everyone started hyper-fixating when I said education isnt free because they know they cant argue against my original point
December 1, 2025 at 5:54 PM
Working for a PhD stipend is not "free". But you're so dull you don't even understand that.
December 1, 2025 at 5:50 PM
Yeah, thats my point. There is no free education in the US. You have to pay for it. Doing work in exchange for something is not free.
December 1, 2025 at 5:47 PM
Thats not what peer means in academia.

If you are not educated in my field, then we are not peers, and you are not qualified to speak on the subject.

I get that you want to be a special little boy, but that not how credentialing works.
December 1, 2025 at 5:46 PM
"In exchange for work"

That isnt free dog. Try reading your own post next time.
December 1, 2025 at 5:44 PM
We arent having a discussion about your field. We're having a discussion about my field.

Try to keep up.
December 1, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Again, thats not free.
December 1, 2025 at 5:42 PM
What's crazy is that it doesnt have to be this way.
December 1, 2025 at 5:41 PM
Lol no way

If I sell my d455 camera overseas, I'd be breaking the law?
December 1, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Demanding proofs of correctness for our algorithms is not "science denialism", it is literally the most basic requirement of my field.

If you dont even understand how my field works, then why are you even trying to speak on the matter?
December 1, 2025 at 5:37 PM
He wants to lecture me about my own field - a field he doesnt belong to - all the while lacking basic education on how our algorithms function under the hood.

Why would such a person be my peer?
December 1, 2025 at 5:35 PM
Just because you've personally experienced something does not mean it is common or attainable for everyone else. This is peak boomer mentality.
December 1, 2025 at 5:33 PM
Thats not free. These people are acting like you just get free money to study without doing any work.
