Two (three?) months after very unexpectedly becoming a manager again I finally had a week where I lifted heavy things three times and jogged once. Taking back control of my days from the many, many meetings that want to steal them.

I kind of want to change my handle everywhere to this new one but I have actual things that depend on my GitHub and Gitlab repos now, and I know it forwards but only for awhile or something? I gotta look into that.

i am just catching up on this but it seems pretty bad (and outright deluded) to launch a social network without explicitly blocking people from using the most well-known racial slur in the english language as a username

This is the best twitter alternative I’ve found so far, and I’ve been glad to rebuild my following on here, but if people don’t want to be on here it immediately becomes useless to me.

No better way to use my first post than to say: @jay.bsky.team, listen to the people telling you what to do about the slurs. Own your, frankly massive and inexcusable, mistakes and commit to being better and say how. The anger is justified, it's on you to fix. Do it quickly.
