He said, sure Atlas - in exchange for my Prime Minister crown, we’ll help get that bill through for you. That bill that has failed THREE TIMES previously due to it being so egregiously unconstitutional.

The world is about to blow past 1.5°C of warming, the limit we collectively hoped to avoid. What does that mean - and what next?

Staff at NZ universities will now have to deal with govt mandated free speech complaints process designed to facilitate far right agitprop infiltrating campus spaces and threatening our academic freedom under the guise of protecting it.

“Requiring universities to develop a freedom of expression statement, maintain a complaints process, and report annually on academic freedom and free speech.”

Yet more laws pushing for mass #surveillance in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Aim is to grab more data on where cars are and put it in a massive database so cops can check up on you. Few controls to stop cops and their friends at other agencies from tracking ex-partners or future dates.

At what point do we publicly accept that NZ is deeply corrupt and the only reason why we don’t have a culture of direct payoffs and bribery (that we cite as the evidence for us not being corrupt) is because it’s not needed? The boys club gets what it wants through people playing their social roles.

It's funny. Most Australians proclaim they believe in mateship, a fair go, and helping those in need - progressive values.

Yet, time and time again, they vote for conservative leaning parties that are largely corrupt, self-interested, greedy, petty and spiteful toward immigrants and the poor.
