This fucking old ass European mountain guide acting like his ass would even be there at all if it weren’t for the hundreds of Sherpas and local porters hauling his gear (AND HIS ASS LETS BE REAL) up the side of the mountain. FOH.

Check out a book called “Trickster Makes this World” by Lewis Hyde - seriously an incredible academic exploration of this idea, I can’t recommend it enough!

Shingles is the fucking WORST… literally felt like the right side of my torso was actively on fire for over a month.
