An open letter to humanity, Have we unwittingly handed over our personal power? And not just to the ideology of a democracy with it’s self-serving and increasingly rogue and incompetent Governments. And all without even being aware of it? It appears so. Perhaps it was simply the promises flouted by ‘Technology’. Gone are the days of simply having tell-a-vision to shape and condition us. Now our thoughts, our consumerism are all carefully algorithm-ed and orchestrated, always under the guise of progress. Rather than simply relying on us to gather around a communal screen for our infusion of influence, we’ve been trained to carry our gatekeepers with us, 24/7. It’s become ridiculously easy for anyone to reach us. It’s now almost unconscionable to be unavailable. Today “they” and their minions polish and package all of this crap as ‘progress’ to make OUR lives what? A new and improved, luxurious, curated - technologically advanced surveillance prison. These PARASITES survive off of us. They profit from YOUR dependency on THEIR systems. Profiting and profiling our attention, our ideas, our thoughts, our opinions, our perspectives, dreams, etc. They feed off of us and then sell us back whatever fragments of our leftover souls they can profit from. It is costing us our humanity. Some would argue it already has. All sorts of warfare to make us too numb, depleted and lost so we are considered easy prey while they continue to play to their end game. Whatever that is. I’m grateful I have no idea. For to be capable of committing such horrors is not anything I would even want to consider. However we unknowingly accepted this series of encroachments on our human-ness, I do know only we have the power to stop it. This entire rant was written by an actual human being, so suck it A.I.

Listen, if a Bad President can come in and take away our rights and we're dependent on a Good President replacing them in four years to give us back our rights, then we do not have any rights. If politicians can take or distribute them, they're not "inalienable" and they're not "rights". We don't have inalienable rights, we have conditional privileges, divvied out according to the whims of whoever currently holds the reigns. And if we want to have actual rights, then we must build a system in which no one has the power to take them away to begin with.
