Hey! I'm Malukah, a Brazilian artist just starting out here in Bluesky. I mostly like drawing things with an inky feel and flashy colors. Here's some of my digital work!

She's wearing a pink snake leather jacket with fluffy cotton spilling from the top, and it is falling from her shoulders. She's wearing fingerless gloves and lots of shiny metal accessories. She has a somewhat sultry/domineering expression, and her hair is long and tied near the top of her head in a thick ponytail. An eye with a pentagram for an iris crying bicolored tears. A disembodied neck with the skull broken open and oozing liquid. The back of the left eyeball can be seen, and some nerves stem from the back of it. I remember thinking how much we rely on blank slates to create. We don't often use imperfect materials to draw — we want to control everything.

I don't remember why I ripped this page in half in my sketchbook. But I remember I didn't want to waste it. Then, this drawing came to be!

Here are some of my sketches from my sketchbook! I love using permanent markers, but graphite has a special place in my heart!
A person sitting on the grass hill cross-legged. A tree springs forth from their head. "Clareza" is written. A forearm growing from a pot with vines and foliage. The hand is pinching an unfinished flailing figure. A sewer disposal site with a woman below it, being forced by a pair of masculine hands to drink the sewer water. She has a belt around her neck and she's distressed, nearly crying. "Disgust" is written above the sewer disposal site, and the person forcing the woman to drink the sewage is saying "Drink up." A cracked egg. On the shell, it's written "Brain rn".

I didn't actually do everything from #inktober2023 😭

BUT, I do have one last drawing from then. The theme was "Saddle"!

It's bizarre how similar all mammals are. The spine, the thorax. I know most mammals look alike in the embryonic stage, but this was a little crazy.

The peaks of their shoulders and knuckles mimic the stony edges of a medieval castle. A bloody dagger with an ornate handle decorated with cherry blossom representations. Around the weapon, there are cherry blossoms drawn in a particular style that mirrors the tattoo of a videogame character called Majima Goro, since the dagger is his. "Demon Fire Dagger" is written. An angel and demon. The demon is upside down on the illustration, grabbing the angel's ankle with his left hand, while the angel is right-side up and reaching with his left hand to grab at the demon's ankle, forming a ying-yang structure. The demon has curly horns that reach up and above the sides of his head and the angel wears a halo.

Here's some of my ink I did earlier this year! Once I discovered the beauty of cheap as hell perma markers, I couldn't really resist them! I love their contrasting colors and their graphic feel.
