I’m so tired I forgot to attach the cape pics.

Ban-Rol helped stabilize my hems so they wouldn’t stretch out while sewing.

Cape is sewn. Back design drawn on heat n bond. I was in the zone, but I drew it on the floor and now my back and knees have regrets.

Sometimes I feel like my art degree wasn’t a complete waste.

Even though I’m cosplaying Nice, Ghostblade is my favorite hero 💖

Just finished putting in the last pieces of Velcro + hook and bar closures. If I like it without makeup then I will love it when I do have makeup 😂

Rest of my day will be cape, which I do think I can knock out this weekend.

I want something lightweight for the cape, so I’m using this stretch twill I also obtained in JoAnn liquidation. It’s not as stiff/heavy as regular twill, and it’s a “cool” white like the hex (they look warm on the right but that is the same fabric in the left pic). Matching white fabrics are a pain

The close-up was captured by Yaya earlier this year to show the suit fabric does indeed have a subtle hex pattern! Friends helped me get enough white scuba hex from JoAnn Liquidation before I started on it.
