Grade in der Toei Asakusa Line: der Zug in dem wir waren ist etwa 30cm zu weit gefahren, wodurch die Türen des Zugs nicht ganz mit den Barrieren auf dem Bahnsteig passten. Also kurze Entschuldigung vom Zugführer, dass er die Türen noch nicht öffnen kann.

That English bit is so bad. It's like they leave out vital information on purpose, like they expect those foreigners visiting knowing exactly everything while they explain everything in detail in Japanese. It's quite schizophrenic.
My conclusion of Kanazawa after the second visit: the garden is still definitely a must see and very nice (pics later) but all the places of interest are so spread out. Plus they market everything very heavyly to foreigners online etc but on site it's just half of the info in English. (1/2)

Something very strange happened with my Apple Watch while we were in Nagasaki and Hiroshima on the weekend. Usually I can go a whole day without recharging it, but there it took like 2 hours to drain 50% of its energy. It stressed me tf out. Now that we're in Kanazawa, it's back to normal, WTF?!

Went to the marvel store today.
For this trip one of my goals was to buy pottery cause that's one of my main interests. Sadly we couldn't make it to arita today but instead bought deadpool Kutaniyaki 🥹 so I guess that counts!

A bit of Nara today. Went to Kasuga Taisha cause I haven't had the time to visit it properly yet. Thankfully it was not as crowded as todaiji or the Shosoin exhibition (tho I recommend seeing it once if possible) ^^'

I finally figured out the "problem" with #StarTrekDiscovery: it's like every other Sci-fi series. Star Trek used to be more "down to earth" than, say, Battlestar Galactica or Babylon 5. Discovery is way more "fantastic" than TNG or DS9. Then again, it's been 30 years.
