This may sound almost too elementary, but at Assigned Media we believe in informing our audience about the basic facts that underlie our stories.

At the New York Times they're often doing... something else. We're not sure what, exactly.
Similarly, JK Rowling didn't make some anodyne comment and face disproportionate ire.

She has dedicated her entire late career to restricting trans rights and has issued numerous straightforwardly transphobic statements. After a recent one, an LGBT rights org criticized her.

Anyway here’s a cheerful piece about how the Sun will eventually destroy all life on Earth (but not by exploding, so, you know, there’s that)
Here’s how the Sun will end all life on Earth
Our home star won't go supernova, but the end of its life will be no less spectacular.

I’m on the “Ariana Grande for the Best Supporting Actress Oscar” train. She is delightful in Wicked, with razor-sharp timing and presence that adds depth to the mean girl archetype. It’s one of the best comedic musical performances in years (maybe since Catherine Zeta-Jones on Chicago).

If you go to a Wicked showing and start singing they should be allowed to beat you with popcorn bags. Them babies came to hear Ariana Grande and Cynthia Eviro, not Pam from the community theater troupe. GROW UP.

Like…Supporting Actor is a bloodbath and I know he doesn’t have a shot in hell, but if the Golden Globes wanted to toss Jonathan Bailey a nomination for playing the year’s second most charismatic and chaotic bisexual (behind Denzel in Gladiator II), that would be neat.

It’s chilling how it now just happens in the background of our feeds. Shocking what we can become used to.
