i recentely decided to crowfund for my hrt. Im very happy that i decided to do so cuz if i didnt idk how much longer would i have been waiting for and now i can finaly do the fucking blood tests.

its just that to me usa seems to have very lackluster labor laws in general
and as i said in a different comment even canadian law is much less explicit in labor protection than what we have in poland

ok from what i read in the article it seems like canadian law is much less explicit. Because it seems to prohibit firing someone b e c a u s e of pregnancy whereas polish law just says fuck you, you cannot fire a pregnant person ever, the only reason is if they fucked up real bad.

i would disagree with the "inherently self-interested" part
as a psych major we are having this shit drilled into our heads but there are as many arguments for inherent self-interest as for "inherent selfles-altruism"

to put it simply im unsure what mamdani means when he says it cuz social democrats have been saying "seize ..." to mean things that dont involve abolish private property, biggest example of it are the nordic countries

but i want to say: historically social democrats have often used the term "seazing the means of production" in a way differing to other intepretations of this quote - to call for democratic control (through for example workers councils) in a property based econimic system

were there antisemites in poland who did pogroms and advocated for antisemitism - yup some of their leaders are even praised today

nazi collaboration was never popular and we never "loved voting for collaborators" you could even make the argument that it was the least popular in poland

you oversimplified a vast group of nationalities with different stances towards nazi collaboration based on racial lines
for me as a polish person it felt disrespectful towards my family, like even the most fucked up right wing part of family was endangering fhemselves by hiding jews
