Hoping that Scotland will not still be an English colony when I die. Sadly, not much time left for me. Doric speaker - would be Gaelic speaker.

When Nicola Sturgeon left office she was the most popular party leader in the UK.

Yet on her retirement from politics the BBC chooses to continue the non-stop negativity. You have to ask who it thinks it represents - because it isn't most people in Scotland.

I'm seeing lots of horror stories from Americans about their hassles with health insurance bills. Here in Scotland in 2020 I had a massive stroke, I was in hospital for many weeks & required intensive rehab for months after. Our sole out of pocket expense was snacks for my husband's stress eating.

The Scottish NHS isn't perfect, no healthcare system is, my mum has melanoma, now sadly stage 4 & incurable, she's never had to wait more than a couple of weeks for a scan or an appointment. She almost died last Xmas. it's only thanks to NHS Scotland we still have her. Not a penny in health bills.

Someone needs to invent some kind of online calculator whereby we Brits can put in our recent healthcare appointments/meds/experiences and it’ll calculate what it would cost on average in the USA. Just to hammer home how bloody lucky we are to have the NHS and how fiercely we need to protect it.

Starmer will be spitting feathers over this. The ravages of Brexit disease upon UK infrastructure will continue. No amount of glossy brochures about growth, innovation, and prosperity will solve things unless the UK ditches its 86 deregulated free zones and rejoins the EU

Please stop telling me to be more patient with Keir Starmer and the NHS. Look at the stats. Every single day they fail to take action, more patients needlessly die.

Why are you OK with that?

Not a fan, but in this case you are right.
Well done Jess Phillips
Home Office minister Jess Phillips has said she will vote in favour of legalising assisted dying.

Just days before the first vote on the issue in almost a decade, the senior Labour MP said she had "experience of watching people die in pain".

Netflix - please stop minimising the end credits of movies to suggest something else. Let viewers enjoy the soundtrack and see the cast and crew that worked on the film. We'll exit it ourselves when ready to.

King Charles inherited £650m tax free, gets £125m a year tax free from the tax payer and has an estate worth £22bn that’s never taxed.

But he still needed a 45% pay rise.

Like if he needs a pay cut.
