The Government will kick 2 million young people off social media and in doing so harm many of them. Aren't they concerned about this impact?

One time a scammer called my Italian grand father and told him I was in jail in New York. My grandfather immediately believed it, didn’t even try calling me, hung up with the scammer. Called my mom to try to figure out what lawyer to hire and how to get me out

After eight years, $15bn and endless disruptions, seeing people flood the new platforms feels like a true reopening of the city
I think people assumed I was doing a bit when I turned into a Metro Tunnel-head.
Overnight, my Instagram Stories went from pictures of my cat, pub dinners and movies I was recommending to a site of updates and exclamation marks counting down the days until the new massive infrastructure project opened to Melbourne commuters, allowing me to zip from suburbs buttressing one end of the city to those on the other end. I am almost certainly eligible for PIP (see the wheelchair in my header pic, amongst other disabilities). But I have never applied for it, even when I have been very poor, because I am terrified of being subjected to this level of surveillance. I preferred to eat cornflakes and keep the heating off.
