Exactly! Arabic, with all its conjugations, is an interesting language. i've been doing these translations quickly and dictionary-less so excuse any mistakes. If I'd had a bit more time, I'd probably translate loner to infiradi (solitary).

I agree! That's the fun of translation, it's an art, not a science.
Lonely is 'waheed.' I think loner would be something like 'wahdani' but it's more of a slang term and doesn't have the same connotations as in English.
