The Guardian broke the story about excessive surveillance on U Michigan’s campus (thousands of surveillance cameras, undercover cops trailing students, drones over public squares).
U-M regents approved spending for cops/cameras and ignored our complaint in the May Faculty Governance report.

This prosecution was wrong & I think public pressure on Dana Nessel worked. I feel such relief for our students and community members, as this was a complete surprise for them today. Dems largely own this mess, and we must identify the political entanglements - esp. with President Ono resigning.
