I’m tired. It’s probably just hormones but I had a weird dream last night and now I feel like I’m mourning a love that never arrived.

It’s our state election today (Western Australia). The person handing out how-to-vote sheets for our major conservative party offered me one. I replied that I would not EVER vote for the party that is best mates with the Australian wannabe oligarchs 1/2

Sometimes I think I’ll cull people on my other social media platforms. But then I think that maybe some of them want to escape their ideological prisons like I finally did and that they need to keep seeing me work out my life outside of the conservative echo chamber. So I let them be.

“If we don’t protect vulnerable children, who do we protect?” - on top of these precious kids, apparently not any child attending school in America because of school shootings. Meanwhile, some school boards are busy successfully banning books. Fiddling while Rome burns.

Aussie here. Lived in OK in early 2000s, had a child there & moved back home. She just graduated. Never did an active shooter drill nor dealt with religion at school. She’s smart, kind & never been in trouble. Loved our time in OK but very glad my daughter was raised & schooled here.
