I was given the opportunity to draw the logo for this year’s AMCOP! Sandhill Crane with parasites Haemoproteus, Echinostoma revolutum, Strigea gruis, Tetrameres sp., Phthiraptera sp., Anomotaenia sp., and Cyclocoelid sp.

We described two newly discovered species of digeneans (a type of parasite) found in South American bats!
