I’ve been seeing more deer on the Raleigh greenway trail system. There were four nearby when I took this photo today, but this one was quite close to me as I rode by on my bicycle.

Walk a bicycle around in there and there will be at least one grumpy person that confronts you about it.
I use my bike as my shopping cart. Deal with it.

Does riding an e-bike make me lazy?
Well I’m riding on average 10 miles per day now, and that average includes some zero mile days from when we had rain. So some single days are easily 20+ mile days that I’m not driving a car.
I wouldn’t do this on a regular bicycle.

Rode from my house to the @ncartmuseum.bsky.social just in time for them to close, then turned around and rode home with just a little drizzle to cool me down. 18.5 miles. About 18 miles of which were on the Raleigh greenway system.

I tried riding my bicycle on the shoulder of Lynn Rd in Raleigh today since there were more pedestrians than usual on the sidewalk. Less than 5 minutes in, motorist intentionally drives too close, honking horn, yelling at me to get on the sidewalk. 🤦
