#guitarbuild 3: routing out the pickup and tremolo cavities was a lot of work. I picked probably a way too complicated tremolo to install for my first ever, it’s called a Floyd rose and I’ve never owned a guitar with one so I’m going for broke 🎸 #dadsmakingstuff

#guitarbuild 2: I cut my own template for the body shape on a laser cutter, and bought a few other templates for the neck pocket, pickup cavities, etc. Bought a Jazzmaster replacement neck by All Parts & started fitting it in the pickup cavity with bolts.

Hey friends I decided i wanted to share my 1st guitar build from scratch, which is very much an in-progress thing. started with a piece of maple that I cut, planed & glued up. maple came from a tree that was struck by lightning at my parent’s house ⚡️

This was my 1st time painting a guitar pedal enclosure for my friend Kevin’s original Buttah pedal: a passive volume pedal so your tone is “smooth like buttah!” I used spray paint, paint markers & water slide decals. Pedal by Kilo Foxtrot pedals - super limited run. #guitar #pedals #custom #paint
