one thing i will say is i have a huge amount of respect for it for not having an obviously cop-out happy ending and actually forcing you to confront the decision. great storytelling

yeah i think it is cruel of maelle to keep verso alive when he clearly wants to die but it would also be cruel to erase everyone else's existence to do that unless you don't think the people of the canvas are "real"
