Today is World Aids Day. As the US Government is not commemorating/funding it anymore, awareness is critically important...

The UK is one of a few countries that met its 95 / 95 / 95 target, but there is work to do. U = U. Don't just challenge HIV stigma, but ALL testing and treatment barriers.

Also, saw this earlier in the year. It affected me deeply.

Went to see the UK AIDS Memorial Quilt on display in the Tate Turbine Hall yesterday. It's only around for a few days so I felt very lucky I got to see it. I cried.

It's not talked about enough that the UK is really great at tackling HIV transmission rates but the fight is not over. www.gov.uk/government/news/trailblazing-scheme-to-reconnect-thousands-with-hiv was good to see, especially when the US Government isn't mentioning today AT ALL. #WorldAIDSDay

My Clementine Cake isn't a decorative cake but it's amazing what you can do by slapping a citrus next to something. It's very tasty! Zingy and delicious. Much like myself.

I realised last night that it's 20 YEARS since I got my first library job. Dear god.

Oh look, a thread about my wedding music, haha.
Today is the 56th anniversary of the first performance of Mahna Mahna on Sesame Street. You’re familiar with it by now, of course, but... well, it never hurts to be reminded, does it?

After reposting this I wondered if anyone had written an article about the Dream Phone guys. Good ol' Buzzfeed: www.buzzfeed.com/jenlewis/the...
Is Dream Phone Conscious? Many users feel they're talking to a real person. Dumb fucks say it's time to consider whether they're onto something x

Finished playing The Seance of Blake Manor, a game that is very much up my street. I loved it! I loved the detective aspect, the time limits which add pressure but not too much, the stories. Very much recommended!

Finished Riot Women today. It's quite dark and heavy hitting at times but very good. Not at all like its advertising.

Doing some mandatory training. Current topic - manual handling. Loving this absolute diva living her best life carrying a box around the office.

At my only trip to Hyde Park Picture House this film festival. Cosy gaslight wonder. Popped a couple of ghost marshmallows in my hot chocolate for ambiance.
