He disappeared from the public eye, and as far as most are aware, never created again.
Though sometimes a kind stranger would still leave toys and trinkets for anyone who needed a little joy in their day.

The Carbuncle was taken deep into Pandaemonium, where it would be experimented on and become the Proto-Carbuncle seen in the Fifth Circle.
When Hedylogos discovered this, he was utterly devastated.
