I have a long ass theory about where the signs of sanji's character development were first introduced (longer than this, yes, for real)....

But it still boils down to sanji had a crisis ➡️ignored it➡️was forced to interact with it➡️came out badass

He went through it, and came out on top

Meanwhile Sanji.

Sanji is kicking ass and taking names.

It's the coolest he's looked in forever.

Why?

He had his character development.

He had all of whole cake island to have the solution introduced. And then he proved WCI worked in wano.

And now he's stable, which makes him kickass

So egghead.

He's trying to keep face. He's freaking out a little still. But he has to keep it together, he's the protector of the crew.

He takes on Lucci.

He.... He struggles. It isn't as easy as it should be. He can say he was playing with his meal all he wants. But he struggled. That's that.

And then wano happens.

He meets the grim reaper

And it chills him to the bone once more

He becomes aware, once more, that he can do nothing in the face of death. That he is merely mortal and there's nothing to be done

He has a crisis of faith

Who is he if not the one to stop death for the crew?

After the time skip?

Everyone has noticed that Zoro barely smiles, he barely laughs, he just doesn't.

And I think it's because he feels he failed luffy by not being there and not being able to prevent death.

He is obsessed with death.

But he feels he's strong enough to prevent it if he's there

So like, zoro's whole thing is being strong. And honor and all that.

He was messed up by kuina's death. And he will not let it go. Each time there's a near death experience in the crew or to someone Luffy is close with, Zoro smiles less and adds more weight to his barbells

Either way it's lazy as hell reporting that is causing active harm to our society and is a direct pipeline to our current situation in the USA.

Fringe hate in our country wouldn't feel so bold without those "news articles"
